KUWAIT CITY, May 25: The Golden Cup Hockey Tournament began with great enthusiasm at the KOC Hockey Pitch, drawing a large crowd and prominent members of the Pakistani community for the opening ceremony.

The inaugural match featured KOC Green Unity Hockey XI facing off against Kuwait Hockey King XI, with KOC GUH XI securing a dominant 5-goal victory. Vice-captain and goalkeeper Owais Mirza was instrumental in the win, delivering a standout performance that helped set the tone for the tournament.
