KUWAIT CITY, Sep 18: The skies above Kuwait were painted a mesmerizing crimson hue this evening, on Wednesday, as the giant blood moon made its grand appearance. This followed the partial lunar eclipse that the country witnessed at 3:14 a.m., reaching its peak at 4:55 a.m.
At 6:19 pm, the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) captured this stunning celestial event on camera. The moon appeared 14 percent larger than its usual size due to its proximity to Earth. This phenomenon, known as a supermoon, makes the moon appear both larger and brighter.
