BERLIN, March 5: Germany on Thursday reported 196 new confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), said the country's Robert Koch Institute for disease control.
The latest cases bring this European country's total number of confirmed coronavirus cases up to 349, the institute, which is an affiliate of the German Ministry of Health, said in a press statement on Thursday.
The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) first emerged in the Chinese metropolis Wuhan late last year and is quickly spreading around the world. (KUNA)
