KUWAIT CITY, Aug 24: The Kuwait Fire Service Directorate has announced the administrative closure of 20 shops and facilities across various governorates for failing to meet safety and fire prevention standards. In a press statement released on Friday, the force stated that a recent campaign was conducted to ensure compliance with these safety regulations.
The campaign's findings led to the closure of the non-compliant establishments. According to the statement, these shops and facilities had not secured the necessary fire licenses and failed to adhere to safety and fire prevention requirements despite previous warnings to rectify the violations.
