KUWAIT CITY, Oct 25: Under the direct supervision of His Excellency the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahd Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, and in the presence of Major General Hamed Manahi Al-Dawas, Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs, the Criminal Security Sector launched a large-scale security campaign in the Mahboula area on Friday, October 24, 2025.
The operation was carried out with the participation of field security teams representing the Governorate Investigation Departments, the General Fire Force, and the Medical Emergency Department, as part of the Ministry of Interior’s continuous efforts to uphold the law, apprehend violators, and combat negative behaviors that threaten public order.
The campaign achieved significant results, leading to the arrest of 263 individuals in total, including:
- 203 violators of residency and labor laws
- 23 individuals with outstanding arrest warrants
- 6 individuals found in an intoxicated condition
- 26 persons involved in prostitution-related activities
- 4 suspects under investigation for suspicious circumstances
- 1 individual arrested for impersonating the opposite sex
Following the campaign, Sheikh Fahd Yousef Saud Al-Sabah instructed the concerned authorities to take all necessary legal measures against the offenders and emphasized the importance of continuous field monitoring and intensified enforcement efforts to ensure that the law is applied equally to all without exception.
The Ministry of Interior reaffirmed its determination to continue such comprehensive security operations across all governorates. It also called on the public to cooperate with security personnel and to adhere strictly to the law and official regulations, underscoring that these campaigns are essential to safeguard national security and protect the safety and stability of Kuwait’s citizens and residents.
