KUWAIT CITY, Sep 25: The Public Authority for Roads and Land Transport, in coordination with the General Traffic Department, has announced a temporary closure of the overpass connecting King Faisal Bin Abdulaziz Road (Road 50) to Ibrahim Al-Muzain Street (Road 404), leading towards South Surra and Sheikh Jaber Hospital. The closure is necessary to complete ongoing asphalt paving works.

In an official statement released on its account on the X platform today, Thursday, the Authority clarified that traffic will be diverted through alternative routes, redirecting vehicles from Khaitan to Zahra. The closure will begin at dawn on Saturday (12:00 a.m.) and will remain in effect until midnight on Sunday. The Authority urged all motorists to follow traffic signs and exercise caution while using the diverted routes to ensure safety and avoid congestion.
