KUWAIT CITY, June 9: The inspection and emergency teams at the Commercial Control and Consumer Protection Department in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry have intensified their inspection efforts in commercial markets and shops to ensure that vendors and shop owners strictly comply with the commercial rules and regulations. Director of the Commercial Control and Consumer Protection Department Faisal Al-Ansari revealed that the Farwaniya Governorate Emergency Department organized an intensive inspection campaign in various markets; resulting in the closure of three shops, including a party and wedding supply store and two furniture stores in Dajeej for violating the terms stated in the invoices.
Al-Ansari praised the efforts of the emergency team, headed by Farwaniya Inspector Mansour Al-Juraidan and inspectors Hamad Al-Bidan, Turki Al-Duwailah, Mishari Al- Mutairi and Ghamlas Al-Khurainij. He confirmed that the inspection teams will continue to check all markets to ensure the safety of food products and other items in preparation for Eid Al-Adha.
