Forbidden to include profession on civil ID

KUWAIT CITY, April 1: The Director- General of the Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI), Musaed Al-Asousi, has issued a decision according to which the inclusion of the profession of persons on the civil ID in general is forbidden, reports Al-Qabas daily. Al-Asousi’s decision came based on a memorandum submitted to him by the Legal Affairs Department, in implementation of the verdict of the Court of Cassation which was issued on Dec 9, 2020. Al-Asousi called on the competent authorities to implement everything related to the decision and implement it, starting from March 31, 2021.
