KUWAIT CITY, Sept 3: The Public Authority for Food and Nutrition (PAFN) announced the precautionary closure of a food facility, following complaints regarding suspected cases of food poisoning associated with it. In a press statement, the authority confirmed that, in cooperation with the Ministry of Health, it immediately initiated epidemiological investigation procedures, taking samples from the food and workers at the suspected facility. PAFN added that the owner of the facility was instructed to temporarily close it, pending the results of laboratory tests and epidemiological investigations. The authority reaffirmed its commitment to protect consumers and guarantee the safety of food sold in the markets by taking all the necessary preventive measures.
