KUWAIT CITY, March 23: At a time when the government agencies are preoccupied fighting to control the spread of the coronavirus in Kuwait, several people have taken it as a good opportunity to violate the laws, reports Al-Rai daily.

The Al-Rai daily cameraman saw several people fishing in Kuwait Bay near the Jaber Bridge in clear violations of the law. In the meantime, a source told the daily the Marine Control Department of the Public Authority for Agricultural Affairs and Fish Resources (PAAAFR) is suffering because the maintenance contract for maritime patrol boats has expired and that added, the contract for repair was signed only once, and that it is not sufficient since the patrol boats need regular maintenance.
