KUWAIT CITY, Nov 22: The DAESH terrorist organization is preparing to change the course of the war or rather planning to engage the international community (coalition) in chemical warfare in Iraq and Syria, reports Al-Anba daily quoting reliable security sources.

The daily added, the security sources have come to this conclusion because of what they have found in the homes and hideouts of members of DAESH organization and what has been confessed by the suspects during interrogation by the State Security police.

During interrogation the cell members have reportedly told interrogators that scores of Chemical Weapons Protective Suits have been sent overland to the organization members in Iraq and Syria.

The cell members, according to sources close to the interrogation, have said they don’t know why the request for the suits was made. The members claimed over the past six months DAESH has bought a large number of such suits.

The sources said during interrogations the members claimed DAESH has a big following in the form of logistic and financial support.

According to sources, the cell members have admitted to transferring millions of dollars to the terrorist organization in cash and kind.

Meanwhile, the sources revealed the wives and siblings of members of the cell shall be deported from the country in public interest. The sources added all cell phones lines that have been used by members or sold in their names shall be examined to determine the relationships of members of the cell both at the local and regional level.

The sources described the cell that has been busted as one of the most complex and secret. The cell, the sources stressed, had been operating in Kuwait with links in Gulf countries, for nearly two years.

The source revealed most relatives of the members of the cell particularly the first degree, have been summoned for interrogation.

In the midst of denials by Ukraine that Kiev is a source of weapons obtained by Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) or the so-called DAESH, in the wake of an announcement made by Kuwait that it had busted the DAESH cell which had bought weapons from Ukraine for the terrorist organization in Syria, international media reports said “Ukraine is a home where weapons are sold on the black market and from where DAESH buys its requirements,” reports Al-Rai daily.

However, a US security official close to the Ukrainian intelligence, who refused to give his identity, said “it is likely the Lebanese suspect who was arrested in Kuwait had obtained weapons from a broker in Ukraine”. However he did not give a definitive answer whether Kiev was aware of the sale of those weapons.

The press service of Ukrainian Defense Ministry stated the accusation of supplying ISIL terrorists with weapons is groundless.

Ukraine neither manufactured nor buys the Chinese-made FN-6 man-portable air defense missile systems (MANPADS) or gives permission for their transit through its territory.

The Ukrainian Interior Minister Arsene Avakov said that the illegal trade of arms clearly increased since the beginning of the war in Ukraine.
