FIFA Rankings: Kuwait Shows Remarkable Improvement

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 21: Kuwait’s national football team has made significant strides in the latest FIFA global rankings, climbing two positions in the September update released yesterday. They now hold the 135th spot in the world rankings and rank 25th in Asia.

Meanwhile, the Argentine national team, reigning world champions, retained their top position in the FIFA global team rankings. “La Albiceleste” continued to lead the rankings, with France in second place and Brazil in third. England maintained their fourth place ranking, followed by Belgium in fifth, Croatia in sixth, and the Netherlands in seventh. A notable change within the top ten FIFA-ranked teams was Portugal’s rise to eighth place, while Italy slipped to ninth. Spain held firm in the tenth spot. On the African continent, the Moroccan national team surged to thirteenth place in the global rankings, securing the top spot in Africa.

Senegal claimed the twentieth position globally and second in Africa. Tunisia landed in twenty-ninth place globally, while Algeria settled at thirty-fourth place worldwide and fourth in Africa. Egypt held the thirty-fifth position globally and the fifth in Africa.
