KUWAIT CITY, Jan 14: The Criminal Court, presided over by Judge Fawzan Al- Anjari, yesterday adjourned the case filed against a Bedoun, who was accused of consuming drugs and murdering his father in Firdous, until the accused’s mother and siblings submitted a waiver. During the cross-examination of the accused at the court session, he confessed that he was not in full senses as he was under the influence of drugs, and he did not know that he had killed his father until two days later.

He said, “On the day of the incident, I returned home and took different types of drugs given to me by a friend. I later learned that a dispute occurred between my father and me over my drug use, and it later developed into a fistfight. During the fight, I took out a machine gun and fired two shots at him in the chest, killing him. I did not know that all of this had happened, and what I am narrating now is what the detectives told me. They were the one who told me that I had killed my father. I learned about this only on the second day after I sobered up.”
