KUWAIT CITY, April 22: The Criminal Investigation Department has referred an employee of General Traffic Department to the Public Prosecution for enabling a citizen of an unidentified Gulf country to smuggle out of the county his two daughters, reports Al-Anba daily.

The father allegedly smuggled them out of the country by using the civil IDs of two Kuwaitis. When the employee was confronted with results of the investigation, he confessed that he provided the father with Civil IDs of two citizens, although the girls were not Kuwaitis. He also admitted to following up the completion of their exit procedures.

This came to light when the authorities of a neighboring country sent a report to Kuwait to ensure that two Gulf girls entered the border legally, however, investigations revealed that they had been abducted by the father and were forced to remain silent, but they disclosed the incident fearing the law.
