Fans advised to follow safety and traffic guidelines for Kuwait-Iraq match today

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 10: The Ministry of Interior has issued a call to sports fans attending the Asian qualifiers match between Kuwait and Iraq for the 2026 World Cup, scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, at Jaber International Stadium. Fans are urged to follow the instructions and directives from security personnel to ensure their safety and the smooth flow of traffic around the stadium and its surrounding areas.

In a press statement, the General Department of Security Relations and Media at the Ministry of Interior emphasized the importance of adhering to the provided guidelines. The statement noted that gates will open to fans at precisely 5:00 p.m. and that buses will be available to transport fans during entry and exit.

Gate No. (1) will be reserved for VIPs, Gate No. (3) for Iraqi fans, Gate No. (5) for individuals with special needs, and Gates (6-7-8-9) for Kuwaiti fans. Media personnel and public services will use Gate No. (10). Additionally, extra parking spaces have been designated, with six spaces at the College of Basic Education and two spaces at the College of Business Studies. (KUNA)
