KUWAIT CITY, March 3: The Ministry of Interior, through its official website, refutes the misinformation circulating on social media platforms regarding visa openings to specific countries. It emphasizes that all official decisions will be disseminated exclusively through the Ministry’s official channels. Individuals are strongly advised to rely on credible news sources and regularly check the Ministry of Interior’s official website for updates.

Previously, there was speculation about the acceptance of visa applications from all nationalities, including those from restricted countries like Yemen, Syria, Iran, Afghanistan, Iraq, Sudan, and Pakistan. These applications undergo thorough security checks, and upon clearance, approval is granted for either a tourist or family visa.

Applicants are required to submit their applications personally, according to their residential address on their civil ID. The process follows the standard procedure for transactions of other nationalities. The Ministry of Interior has announced the opening of applications for family, tourist, and commercial visits under new conditions, with prior appointments necessary through the Meta platform. This announcement coincides with Minister Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef’s emphasis on revitalizing the economy. He expressed the desire to showcase Kuwait’s beauty and culture, welcoming visitors during the favorable weather conditions for the next four to five months. He reassured that individuals without security restrictions are welcome to enter Kuwait.
