KUWAIT CITY, Mar 25: The Public Prosecutor issued a decision to imprison the accused for publishing and spreading fake news about digging 50 graves for coronavirus infected deaths which caused panic among the citizens. Sources said that he has been sent to imprisonment for period of 21days.
The source said that the accused was under investigations after being caught by the Ministry of the Interior during the investigations that he said that he did not intend to cause terror and panic among the citizens.
The source stated that they will never tolerate rumor-mongers, especially in light of these aggravating circumstances which the country is going through.
