KUWAIT CITY, May 9: Personnel from the residence investigations affairs department comprising members from the Joint Tripartite Committee have arrested 16 expatriates. They were found working in salons and medical clinics, and 11 violators working as daily workers in fake servants’ offices.
The committee through continuous checks on medical clinics and salons, managed to arrest violators of the residence and labor law including one of them was caught practicing medicine without a license. Meanwhile 14 expats who had also violated residency laws were arrested. Also in Mubarak Al-Kabeer area, three fake servant offices were raided and 11 violators of the residency law and labor laws were arrested who were working on daily wage basis. They have been referred to the competent authorities.
