KUWAIT CITY, Oct 27: In a joint inspection campaign, authorities seized a large quantity of medical devices, equipment, and supplies used for injections, cosmetic treatments, and skin care procedures at an unlicensed facility. The inspection revealed that several workers were performing paramedical and cosmetic procedures without the necessary qualifications or supervision from certified medical professionals.
The Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) confirmed that the operation was part of the ongoing efforts of the joint tripartite committee to monitor and regulate the labor market. The campaign aims to curb the exploitation of unlicensed establishments that engage in medical or paramedical practices without proper authorization—an issue that poses serious risks to public health and safety.
The Authority emphasized that such actions are essential to protect the well-being of citizens and residents and to ensure that only qualified professionals perform medical and cosmetic procedures in approved facilities.
Officials urged members of the public to verify the licenses of beauty centers, clinics, and medical establishments before receiving any service. PAM also warned that individuals or establishments found violating labor or health regulations will face strict legal consequences without exception.
Following the inspection, legal measures were promptly taken against the violators. The facility’s file was closed, and all seized medical tools and supplies were retained as evidence pending completion of the investigation.
The Public Authority for Manpower reaffirmed its commitment to enforcing the law and maintaining the integrity of the labor market, ensuring that public health remains a top priority.
