229 Kuwaitis allowed to enter, 100 expats told to go back
KUWAIT CITY, Mar 12: Today, Kuwait International Airport received 6 flights with 229 citizens on board, allowed to enter, while 100 expatriates were prevented and returned on the same plane that flew them, most of them coming from Britain.
Before the decision to close the airport came into effect on Friday night and to stop flights, large numbers of expatriates left and returned to their homes after the government departments were suspended for two weeks.
