Expat Tried To Run, But 21 Bottles Told The Truth

KUWAIT CITY, June 25: Ahmadi detectives have arrested an expatriate for promoting and possessing locally made alcohol in the Abu Halifa area. Authorities found 21 bottles of alcohol in his possession.

According to a security source, detectives on routine patrol the night before last grew suspicious of a vehicle. When officers attempted to stop the car, the driver tried to flee but was quickly apprehended after a brief chase. The suspect was identified as an expatriate.

A precautionary search of the vehicle revealed 21 bottles of local alcohol. The seized items are being destroyed, and legal procedures are underway to deport the individual.
