Nepali Expat Arrested with 3,800 Liquor Bottles Hidden in Abandoned Cars

KUWAIT CITY, June 27: A Nepali expatriate has been taken into custody for allegedly hiding 3,828 bottles of alcoholic beverages inside several abandoned vehicles located in a dirt lot in Mahboula, according to a security source. The arrest was carried out by officers from the Ahmadi Security Directorate, specifically the Fahaheel Area Command under the Fintas Police Station. Authorities report that the individual was not only trafficking alcohol but also using the derelict vehicles as makeshift storage units for a locally produced liquor.

The operation followed intelligence indicating the suspect’s involvement in alcohol manufacturing and distribution. Upon investigation, security forces discovered a large quantity of liquor bottles concealed within the parked vehicles. This arrest is part of the broader efforts led by the Public Security Sector, under the direction of Assistant Undersecretary for Sector Affairs, Major General Hamad Al- Munifi. It reflects ongoing patrol initiatives and heightened security presence across various regions aimed at combating illegal activities.
