The draw in progress.

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 20: The 2025/2026 Ministries, Authorities, and Government Institutions Football League draw was recently held, bringing together representatives from all participating government entities.

The draw set up some exciting clashes, with the Ministry of Education facing the Ministry of Health, and the Ministry of Interior taking on the Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy. The league will follow a two-round format (home and away), with the nine participating teams divided into two groups — four teams in Group A and five in Group B.

Meanwhile, the government futsal league will feature ten teams split into two groups of five, also competing in a home-and-away round-robin format.

Youssef Al-Jassim, head of the football league’s technical committee, praised the Public Authority for Sport for supporting these tournaments. He highlighted that such initiatives promote the authority’s “sports for all” policy, giving government employees the chance to participate in organized sporting competitions.
