A female citizen was imprisoned and fined for defrauding citizens in the Amiri Diwan Property Scheme.

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 16, (Agencies): The Court of Appeal, presided over by Chancellor Nasr Salem Al-Heid, has sentenced a female citizen, who served as the secretary of a former MP, to five years in prison with hard labor and imposed a fine of 21,000 dinars. The conviction is related to her fraudulent activities, deceiving citizens by promising them Amiri Diwan homes, janasi, farms, guest houses, and chalets.

Additionally, she forged documents from the Amiri Diwan, the Council of Ministers, and the National Assembly. The court found her guilty of obtaining 43,000 dinars from victims, who lodged complaints after discovering the identity tampering through student service stores.
