LOS ANGELES, Oct 24, (Agencies): Paris Hilton has opened up about her distress regarding the response to a recent photo featuring her 8-month-old son, Phoenix Barron.

The TV personality took to her Instagram Story to address the "unacceptable" behavior of followers who targeted her child with hurtful comments. On Oct 19, Hilton, 42, shared a series of photos of her son during his first trip to New York City. A TikTok user pointed out the negative responses the post had received, prompting Hilton to respond that her "angel is perfectly healthy" and simply has a "large brain."

Hilton further elaborated on her response to the comments about Phoenix's appearance in a subsequent Instagram Story post on Monday. She began by stating, "Living life in the spotlight, comments are inevitable, but targeting my child, or anyone else's for that matter, is unacceptable."

The public's response to the comments deeply hurt Hilton, and she expressed, "This hurts my heart more deeply than words can describe. I've worked hard to cultivate an environment that is all about love, respect, and acceptance, and I expect the same in return," emphasizing her commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive atmosphere.

The "Paris in Love" star acknowledged the challenges of being a mother in the public eye and how her actions are often scrutinized. She highlighted the dilemmas she faces, saying, "If I don't post my baby, people assume I'm not a great mother, and if I do post him, there are some people who are cruel and hateful." Hilton proudly asserted that she is a dedicated working mother and that her baby is perfectly healthy, adorable, and angelic. She concluded by sharing that her son has become the "biggest blessing" in her life.
