KUWAIT CITY, Sept 10: The residence affairs investigation men have arrested an Egyptian who calls himself ‘Ramses II’ during a security campaign targeting violators of the residence and labor laws on the outskirts of Kuwait including the Al-Mutla’a Farms, reports Al- Qabas daily. The daily has learned the man has been staying in the country illegally for the past 25 years since 1998. He reportedly arrived in the country 29 years ago and has not left Kuwait since then.

The source added the violator is 56 years old, and has been working in the Al-Mutla’a Farms area since 1995. The source pointed the man tried to hoodwink the officers and attempted to escape. He has been detained at the deportation center awaiting the issuance of a travel document by the embassy of his country.
