KUWAIT CITY, Jun 20: The Criminal Court has sentenced an Egyptian national to five years in prison for forging a trade certificate from Mansoura University. He also falsified the consular seals of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the university’s logo to fraudulently obtain a Kuwaiti driving license. The forgery was discovered during a review of previously issued licenses for expatriates. Upon verification with the Egyptian authorities, it was confirmed that the certificate was invalid.
