KUWAIT CITY, May 22: The Ministry of Education terminated a female Egyptian expatriate chemistry teacher and her husband, who is also a teacher, after the Ministry of Interior officers arrested the female teacher for begging, reports Al- Anba daily, quoting sources from the educational sector.
Sources revealed the female teacher was begging in mosques and shops – an act that reflects negatively on the teaching profession and a violation of relevant laws. She quiet well-off and has been working in Kuwait for past 18 years and has property in Egypt. Meanwhile, a security source said the arrest happened a few days ago after a citizen reported seeing a woman who was begging.
