Effects of fasting – Kuwaiti chases his wife with a knife

KUWAIT CITY, May 8: The effects of fasting were almost as predictable as a citizen chased his wife with a knife and intended to stab her shortly before Maghreb prayers just because she forgot to put juice in the refrigerator, reports Al-Rai daily.

The Interior Ministry’s operations room received a complaint from a woman who sought police protection saying her husband who had lost his temper and was trying to stab her following a quarrel between them. During interrogation the husband confessed to what he had done and expressed regret. He also said he did not mean to stab his wife. However, he was made to sign a pledge of good conduct.
