KUWAIT CITY, Sept 7: The Acting Assistant Undersecretary for General Education at the Ministry of Education, Mansour Al-Dhafiri, announced the integration of the attendance fingerprint system for 145,123 employees with the Civil Service Commission (CSC) system. This integration is based on the work centers recorded in the ministry's integrated systems, with employees required to adhere to the approved and automatically programmed work hours according to official schedules.
Al-Dhafiri clarified that working hours for employees at the Ministry’s General Office, central departments, and educational districts are from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM. For those in kindergartens, work hours run from 7:15 AM to 12:05 PM, while primary school hours end at 1:15 PM. Intermediate school employees work from 7:30 AM to 1:40 PM, and secondary school hours extend from 7:45 AM to 1:55 PM. He emphasized the importance of considering the final period for teachers to ensure fairness among the teaching staff.
Fingerprint System Guidelines
Al-Dhafiri stressed the need for employees to strictly follow the attendance fingerprint system, including clocking in, presence, and departure. Employees who notice discrepancies in their work hours are advised to consult the employment affairs department to adjust their job hierarchy and review leave departments to amend their work hours according to their assigned work center.
He also highlighted that all new hires and employees not yet included in the system should register their attendance fingerprints through the leave departments, ensuring alignment with their work center category. Additionally, the fingerprint system is open for technical guidance based on school study plans approved by the first guide.
External Assignments
Al-Dhafiri noted that for external tasks such as training courses, lessons, or committees outside the workplace, Form No. 4, which pertains to tasks and costs, must be used. This form covers tasks performed at the workday's beginning, during, or end.
