KUWAIT CITY, Aug 4: The Ministry of Education, through its Information Systems Department, has unveiled new electronic administrative services on its website aimed at managing optional supplementary insurance and providing benefits under the Disability Law.
In a recent statement, the Ministry announced the addition of six new services for Kuwaiti employees to register and manage their optional supplementary insurance. These services include starting a subscription, modifying the start of an existing subscription, adjusting the subscription, canceling the subscription, stopping the subscription, and resuming the subscription. The Ministry emphasized that these enhancements are designed to streamline transaction processes, save time and effort for citizens, and offer support in selecting, changing, or managing subscription brackets.
Furthermore, the Ministry has introduced two new services related to the Disability Law: a request to refer people with disabilities (Article 41) and a request to care for a disabled person (Article 42). These services can be submitted and monitored electronically by the concerned individuals.
The Ministry highlighted that these electronic services facilitate quick access for beneficiaries, eliminating the need for in-person visits. Applications can be submitted through the Ministry's website, with personal visits required only if an appointment is deemed necessary. Employees can log into their verified personal accounts or authenticate through the My Identity application to track the status and progress of their applications.
By offering these new digital services, the Ministry of Education aims to enhance administrative efficiency and provide better support to Kuwaiti employees in managing their insurance and disability-related needs.
