KUWAIT CITY, June 3: Following the appointment of His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Sabah as the Crown Prince, economists expressed optimism for Kuwait’s economic and developmental prospects, reports Al- Qabas daily. They highlight Sheikh Sabah’s broad popularity, diplomatic finesse, and managerial acumen, predicting his support for Kuwait’s renaissance and growth alongside Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah. Chairman of the National Bank of Kuwait, Issam Al-Saqr, praised the choice, citing Sheikh Sabah’s history of integrity and leadership, essential for navigating Kuwait through regional and global challenges.

Others, like Mohammed Abdulaziz Al-Shaya, Chairman of the Mabanee Company, recalled Sheikh Sabah’s meticulousness and leadership during official visits, noting his commitment to Kuwait’s representation. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Anas Al-Saleh, extended congratulations, emphasizing Sheikh Sabah’s proven competence and leadership, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic.
