Drugs kill woman, boyfriend dumps body – Kuwaiti commits suicide

KUWAIT CITY, AUG 16: A 36-yearold Palestinian woman was found dead in an under construction building in Jaber Al-Ahmad, reports Al- Rai daily. Initial investigations revealed the woman was holding an Egyptian travel document and was wanted by law on financial claims worth KD 50,000.

In a press statement, the General Public Relations and Security Media Department in the Interior Ministry disclosed victim died due to drug overdose. Intensive investigations conducted by Capital securitymen led to the arrest of a 29-year-old Bedoun, identified as Nasser Ali, who admitted to dumping the dead body. He said the victim was with him in his house in Ardhiya when she died after consuming a large quantity of heroin. The suspect was referred to the competent authorities.

Kuwaiti kills self: A 60-year-old Kuwaiti man, identified as Badr Ahmad, committed suicide in his office in Mubarakiya by shooting himself, reports Al-Rai daily. A security source disclosed was involved in crimes related to the possession of unlicensed weapons and police found a number of new shooting guns in his office. It has been reported that he was suffering from depression. The General Public Relations and Security Media Department in the Interior Ministry confirmed that it was suicide and a hunting gun was found in his left hand.

Asian’s body found: Forensics experts hurriedly dug the ground in front of Sulaibiya Land Customs after an employee called the Operations Unit in the Interior Ministry saying a dead person was found in the area, reports Al-Rai daily. The body is believed to be that of an Asian and there were no identification documents in his possessions.
