KUWAIT CITY, April 1: The Criminal Court sentenced to five-year imprisonment an unidentified individual who consumed liquor and drugs, drove his vehicle recklessly on the Seventh Ring Road, collided with a family car driven by their driver, and caused the death of a 19-year old Kuwaiti woman, and injuries to five other individuals.
According to the case file, the collision occurred on the Seventh Ring Road after the gas station to the right of the race track. After the accident, the accused fled the scene but was later arrested by the concerned authorities. It was found that at the time of the accident, he was under the influence of drugs and liquor. The accident also caused injuries and fractures to five individuals who were referred to the nearest hospital by the paramedics.
