KUWAIT CITY, Aug 31: The General Traffic Department has announced the temporary closure of two lanes on Al-Taawun Street in the direction of Salwa. The closure will extend from the intersection with Al-Moataz Street to the intersection with Ali Al-Uthaina Street, heading towards the Sixth Ring Road.
Authorities stated that the closure will take place daily from 4:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m., beginning Sunday, August 31, 2025, and continuing until Wednesday, September 10, 2025.
The department urged motorists to exercise caution, follow traffic signs, and use alternative routes where possible during the closure period.
