KUWAIT CITY, July 6: The Public Relations Department at Kuwait Municipality announced that field teams from the Public Sanitation and Road Occupancy departments in various governorates continue to carry out inspection campaigns. This campaign led to the removal of 19 abandoned and scrap vehicles, issuance of 60 removal stickers for abandoned vehicles and non-compliant commercial containers, documentation of 18 violations related to public sanitation and road occupancy, and replacement of 14 old waste containers.
These campaigns are aimed at uncovering and removing violations of municipal sanitation and road occupancy regulations, while reinforcing the oversight role of regulatory bodies in enforcing municipal laws. As part of this initiative, the Public Sanitation and Road Occupancy Department in Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate conducted extensive inspection tours in residential areas. The campaign focused on improving public cleanliness, preventing the dumping of waste outside the designated containers or areas, and cleaning beaches, main roads and internal streets. These measures refl ect the commitment of the Municipality to maintain a clean and orderly environment for residents.
