KUWAIT CITY, Aug 31: A domestic worker’s body has been transferred to the forensic medicine department following a reported suicide in Farwaniya. The Farwaniya Investigations Department has begun compiling a detailed report on the circumstances surrounding the death.
According to security sources, a Kuwaiti citizen in his fifties notified authorities after being unable to locate his domestic worker despite searching. Upon entering the worker’s room, the man heard the expatriate’s phone ringing but received no answer. Inside, he discovered the worker deceased, with a rope around his neck, having apparently hanged himself.
The informant reported that there were no prior signs suggesting the worker intended to end his life. Authorities have registered the incident as a suicide, and the investigation remains ongoing.
