Doctor Handed Four-Year with Hard Labor and Fine

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 25: The Criminal Court, presided over by Judge Al-Duwaihi Al-Duwaihi, sentenced a doctor, who is a political activist, to four-year imprisonment with hard labor, and imposed a fine of KD 10,000 in a State Security case regarding posts on the “X” platform. The Public Prosecution charged him with “state security charges for writing posts and phrases that would weaken the prestige of the state, and with misusing a phone.”
