KUWAIT CITY, March 30: Yousef Kazim, the spokesperson for the unified government application for electronic services, “Sahel,” announced the launch of a new electronic service by the Ministry of Interior through the “Sahel” application. This new service, available under the “Security Services” section within the application, enables users to verify the necessity of undergoing a biometric fingerprint process.

In a statement to KUNA on Thursday, Kazim elaborated that this service allows individuals to inquire about the need for a biometric fingerprint, whether for themselves or for others, such as family members, children, or domestic workers.

This feature aids individuals in recognizing the requirement for biometric fingerprinting for various purposes. To utilize this service, individuals who are advised to undergo biometric fingerprinting can book an appointment through the “Sahel” application. The booking process involves navigating to the “Appointments” menu, selecting “Book an Appointment,” choosing the Ministry of Interior, then selecting the General Administration of Criminal Evidence, followed by choosing the “Biometric Fingerprint” option and booking an available appointment slot.
