DHAMAN Emphasizes the Pivotal Role of the Prime Minister in Implementing the New Kuwait Plan

Kuwait City, Jan 08: Health Assurance Hospitals Company (DHAMAN) has stated that the appointment of Sheikh Dr. Muhammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah as Prime Minister will play a pivotal role in implementing the various provisions and objectives of the National Development Plan (New Kuwait).

Mr. Hamed Al-Bassam, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of DHAMAN, mentioned that the Prime Minister’s possession of numerous national responsibilities and international experiences, resulting from holding various important positions with strategic dimensions, will significantly contribute to advancing development.

Al-Bassam added that the Prime Minister’s highest confidence in nominating new members of the state’s ministries is a step hoped to have a tangible positive impact in achieving the aspirations of Kuwait in various fields, including the health sector. DHAMAN is one of the most important components within the New Kuwait Plan through the partnership between the public and private sectors to help diversify sources of income and develop healthcare.

Al-Bassam pointed out that DHAMAN represents the late Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah’s desire – may God rest his soul in peace – to advance various areas of health services in Kuwait.
