Defense Minister tackles cooperation with Qatari, Yemen ambassadors

KUWAIT, July 17: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Ahmad Fahad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah underlined Monday the importance of cooperation and how strong relations between Kuwait and the State of Qatar.

A statement by the Ministry of Defense, said remarks by the minister came during a meeting with the Qatari Ambassador to Kuwait, Ali bin Abdullah.The sides also discussed the recent developments and issues of common interests, including ways to strengthen cooperation and work between the two countries.

Later, the Minister received Yemen Ambassador Ali Mansour.The two sides delved into a number of issues, including a mechanism for enhancing forms of bilateral cooperation between the two countries.Sheikh Ahmad praised the strong ties that binds the two countries, stressing on the keenness of both sides to strengthen and develop them.
