Decree withdraws citizenship of one woman, eight men

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 24: The official gazette, Al- Kuwait Al-Youm, released Decree No. 130 of 2024, which ordered the withdrawal of citizenship from Fatima Zamel Ajil Awad and those who obtained it through their dependency on her, reports Al-Seyassah daily. Additionally, the newspaper published Cabinet Resolution No. 792 of 2024, which involved the revocation of Kuwaiti citizenship certificates from eight other individuals, along with those who acquired citizenship through them.

The individuals affected by this decision are:
Hussein Mufrej Al-Ajmi;
Sultan Assaf Hussein Al-Ajmi;
Jaber Mohammad Thaib Al-Ajmi;
Hassan Saleh Hassan Al-Ajmi;
Mohammad Nayef Mohammed Hamid Al-Ajmi;
Jaber Nasser Mahdi Al- Ajmi;
Shamekh Fineis Mahdi Al-Ajmi;
Shuja’a Fineis Mahdi Al-Ajmi
