KUWAIT CITY, June 5: In a move to make it easier for citizens who want to build or renovate their houses in new residential areas, Minister of Commerce and Industry Dr Abdullah Al-Salman issued a decision to allow individuals to import construction, sanitary and electrical supplies, ceramics, stones and even furniture for personal use; provided the materials comply with the Gulf standard specifications and that the importer has obtained a building permit from Kuwait Municipality, reports Al-Jarida daily.
