KUWAIT CITY, April 26: The Ministry of Justice announced that, following the issuance of Decree-Law No. 59/2025 for amending certain provisions of the Civil and Commercial Procedures Law, the General Department for Sentence Enforcement has begun updating its computer system to comply with the new amendment, reports Al- Seyassah daily. The amendment stipulates the seizure of a percentage ranging from 25 percent to 50 percent of the debtor’s salary, under the law and based on the nature of the debt and the debtor’s place of employment. The ministry expects the system update to be completed within this week.
