KUWAIT CITY, Nov 8, (Agencies): The authorities apprehend a man in connection with drug use after discovering an unconscious individual in a public square. The incident unfolded when the Ministry of Interior received a report of a body in an open area in Abu Futeira. However, upon investigation, it was revealed that the report was inaccurate. Instead, a young man was found in an unconscious state. Immediate medical assistance was provided, and it became apparent that he was not in a normal condition.

The young man was subsequently taken into custody by the Mubarak Al-Kabeer police for further investigation. During questioning, he admitted to using drugs before losing consciousness. Moreover, a bag containing traces of a narcotic substance was found next to him. Further inquiries revealed that he had a history of drug-related offenses and had been previously arrested for drug use.

In a separate incident, the Al-Jahra Governorate's investigation and surveillance office referred another citizen to the criminal execution department for investigation in connection with six registered criminal cases against him. The security sources mentioned that they received information about a citizen with an eight-year prison sentence due to a final judgment. He was reportedly located at a relative's house in the Al-Waha area. The police set up a stakeout and arrested him as he left the premises. It was found that he was wanted for six criminal cases, including robbery by force and theft.
