KUWAIT CITY, Jan 4: In a recent development, the Criminal Court has decided to release a woman involved in a drug abuse case. During the proceedings, the court, acknowledging the accused as the daughter of a respectable family, opted for her release pending further investigation.

The charges against the accused include the possession of drugs with the alleged intention of usage. The accused vehemently denied the accusations, prompting the court to question her involvement in such activities given her background.

Presided over by Counselor Dr. Khaled Al-Amira, the court expressed sadness at witnessing a young individual, only 22 years old, embarking on such a destructive path. Dr. Al-Amira emphasized the importance of preserving one's name and the family's reputation, especially when hailing from an esteemed and honorable background.
