KUWAIT CITY, April 28: Shuwaikh port customs department were able to thwart a smuggling attempt of 14,720 bottles of liquor into Kuwait. Customs officers suspected a container coming in from a Gulf country containing household utensils and goods. On opening the container they found 1240 cartons containing 14,720 liquor bottles.
