CSC employs 917 Kuwaitis, 36 expats

KUWAIT CITY, May 6: The Minister of Commerce and Industry, Dr. Abdullah Al-Salman said the total number of employees working at the Civil Service Commission (CSC) is 953. Of these 917 are Kuwaitis and 36 non-Kuwaitis, says Al-Seyassah . In response to a parliamentary question, Al-Salman said at present the CSC does not have a legal advisor either from among the Kuwaitis or non-Kuwaitis.

In another parliamentary question he was about the number of children of Kuwaiti women registered with the CSC for jobs with complete details including qualifications and the minister clarified that Decree No. 17 of 2017 gives priority to appoint non-Kuwaiti children born to a Kuwaiti mother and then to children of Arab countries provided conditions of appointment in each government agency must be mentioned in the application form.
