KUWAIT CITY, Sept 12 : A police lance corporal has been arrested because during interrogation by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) he admitted to photographing his girlfriend while sexually assaulting her ‘with her consent’, but he denied stealing anything from her. Following the confessions by the suspect he has been charged with indecent assault, attempted defamation and misuse of the phone.
According to a security source, the arrest came after his girlfriend of six years filed a complaint against him with a police station in the Hawalli Governorate accusing him of having forced sex with her and filming the incident, and robbing her after luring her to his Hawalli apartment. During interrogation the suspect is said to have admitted to having a relationship with the woman for six years but denied beating or robbing her.
