KUWAIT CITY, May 11: The Kuwait Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha) has referred members of a cooperative society's board of directors and other individuals to the Public Prosecution on suspicion of misappropriating the society's funds and interests.
In a statement released Sunday via its official Twitter account, Nazaha reaffirmed its commitment to thoroughly examining, gathering evidence, and investigating all credible reports of corruption. The authority emphasized the importance of whistleblowers in providing essential information and data related to corruption incidents. Nazaha assured that it would ensure the utmost protection and confidentiality for whistleblowers, in accordance with the law and its executive regulations.
